Lake McQueeney WCID 1 – Update Regarding Tax Rate Notice
Residents of Lake McQueeney Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 (Lake McQueeney WCID 1) may have received or noticed a tax rate notification from the Guadalupe County Appraisal District (GCAD) that has a property tax amount for the District.
This amount was a projection only, based on the worst-case scenarios that were presented during the election. This is not a formal property tax rate, as the District has not yet levied a property tax. The notice provided by the GCAD was an estimate, not a tax bill.
